Assignment 2A - Bug List
- The line at Pollo Tropical in the Reitz always has a long line and takes forever when I go there.
- Why it exists: Pollo is a fairly popular place to eat, and with it being in the Reitz this leads to many people going there. It is slow because orders can be complicated and there are not too many people working there.
- Finding parking in the grad/commuter lot.
- Why it exists: These are popular locations for parking, and due to their location they often fill up. UF also has very limited parking. These often fill up quickly in the morning, and I do not get there until later in the day.
- Having three classes back to back to back from 12 - 5pm with no breaks.
- Why it exists: This exists because it is the way my classes lined up for my program. The classes I need to take were set up like this probably because that is the only time the professors could teach them.
- Having to cross University from NW 25th street when I can't see oncoming traffic.
- Why it exists: There are trees blocking my vision from oncoming traffic, which make it difficult to see when cars are coming and if it is safe to cross. I have to cross University to get to campus.
- Having to go to the gym super early or super late.
- Why it exists: Any other time the gym is extremely packed and it makes it difficult to complete a full workout in a reasonable amount of time.
- Dropping internet connection when I am working on an assignment.
- Why it exists: Power outages can lead to this, and me having an old computer leads to me dropping connection occasionally.
- My dog constantly barking when the doorbell rings.
- Why it exists: She barks because she knows someone is at the door. Loud noises often lead to her barking and running around frantically.
- Cleaning my roommates dirty dishes that they leave in the sink.
- Why it exists: They forget or ignore cleaning them and they fill up the sink, which leads me to having to clean them.
- Nearly every McDonald's messing up my order somehow.
- Why it exists: They misread/misheard the order, or make a simple mistake when putting my order together. Another possibility is them giving me another individual's order.
- Getting cat or dog hair on all of my clothes.
- Why it exists: Both cats and dogs shed their hair, and more hair sheds and gets on your clothes when you pet them or you sit in an area that currently has a lot of hair present.
- Some restaurants in Gainesville increasing their prices for food and drinks on football game days.
- Why it exists: To cope with the increasing demand for food and drinks on game days, restaurants will increase their prices because owners know people will still pay.
- People who chew loudly near me with their mouths open.
- Why it exists: People are not often conscious of doing it, or they do it because they do not care and maybe it makes eating easier for them.
- Big groups walking slow and taking up the entire sidewalk when I'm trying to get to class.
- Why it exists: Groups often stay together when they're going places, and because there are so many of them they take up the entire sidewalk and they walk slow so no one gets left behind and so they can talk and focus on each other better.
- Getting a parking ticket on campus.
- Why it exists: Tickets are given when people park in the wrong place or park without the correct decal. Tickets are in place to discourage people from parking where they shouldn't.
- Getting rained on when walking to class.
- Why it exists: Florida rains so often, so it is bound to happen. There is not much cover on campus, so the rain hits people uninterrupted.
- Leaving Publix, and getting home only to realize I forgot to buy something I needed.
- Why it exists: I do not bring a list when I shop, so this often leads to me forgetting what I needed to purchase.
- When the wind is so strong that it flips my umbrella backwards.
- Why it exists: Florida has crazy weather and storms, which have high wind. Very high winds can often be so powerful that it pushes umbrellas backwards.
- When I press the popcorn button on the microwave and it still burns.
- Why it exists: Certain microwaves get hotter than others which can lead to the popcorn burning, and also the popcorn button could be meant for a larger size bag than what was put in.
- Driving on very bumpy roads or roads with potholes.
- Why it exists: The roads may be bumpy because they are old or neglected. As roads get older they experience a lot of wear from cars if the roads are not taken care of it could lead to bumpy roads or roads with potholes.
- When I'm in a restaurant and I get placed next to the family with a crying baby.
- Why it exists: Certain times this may be the only available seating, or it is just luck of the draw. Also babies cry all the time, so any time you are placed near a baby there is a chance of it crying.
